These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Ajira Next International Ltd., a company registered in Nairobi, Kenya ("Ajira Next", "we", "us"), which operates the Ajira Next platform across Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Rwanda.
By accessing or using Ajira Next, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
You agree to use Ajira Next only for lawful purposes related to job seeking or recruiting. You may not post fraudulent listings, misrepresent your qualifications, scrape or harvest data, attempt to disrupt the platform, or use it to harass or discriminate against others.
When you apply for a role or make your profile available, you authorise us to share the relevant profile and application data with the employer. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and applications.
Employers may post roles, access candidate profiles, and manage applications subject to their selected package. Employers must post accurate listings, use candidate data only for legitimate recruitment, comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws, and keep candidate data confidential. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
Paid features and employer packages are billed according to the plan you select. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. Prices and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider.
You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Except where required by applicable consumer-protection law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. All content, features, and functionality of Ajira Next are owned by Ajira Next International Ltd. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and use it for the purpose of providing the service.
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and by the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and, where applicable, the GDPR. By using the platform you acknowledge our processing of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform and its users. On termination, your right to use the platform ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
Ajira Next is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or employment decisions made based on information found on the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, where Ajira Next International Ltd. is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We will try to resolve disputes informally first; if that is not possible, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya, except where mandatory local law in your country of residence grants you additional rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and version above. Version 2.0 (3 June 2026) corrected the operating entity and contact details and added sections on employer terms, refunds, data protection, termination, and governing law. Version 1.0 (February 2026) was the initial version.
